A lap-joint flange is a loose ring that slides over a stub end welded to the pipe. Because it turns freely, the bolt holes are easy to line up. Only the stub end touches the fluid. We supply it in carbon steel and stainless steel. Stub ends are listed under Buttweld Fittings.
