PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what personal information K. Hashim LLC collects through khashim.com and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have supplied marine, oilfield and industrial products from Sharjah, UAE since 1976. We aim to handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect

• Contact form. When you use the form on our Contact page we receive your name, email address, subject and message.
• Calls, WhatsApp and email. When you phone, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send, including your phone number or email address and the items, sizes and quantities you ask about.
• Quote desk. The quote form on our shop pages builds a WhatsApp message in your own browser and opens WhatsApp so you can send it. The website does not store the text you type there.
• Google Ads lead forms. If you answer a Google lead form shown with one of our ads, Google passes us the details you entered, such as your name, email and phone number.
• Website usage. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to see how the site is used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and clicks on phone, WhatsApp and email links. This uses cookies. We also use this data to measure whether our Google Ads bring enquiries.
• Security and technical records. Our website and its security tools keep technical records such as your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site working and protect it from abuse.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotations.
• To follow up on orders and deliveries you ask us to arrange.
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising.
• To keep the site secure and meet legal duties.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with services that help us run the business, and only as needed: our website hosting and email providers, Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads and Maps), and Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram) when you contact us or follow us there. These providers have their own privacy policies and may process data outside the UAE. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

Our analytics and advertising measurement use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site still works if you block cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and quotation records only as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our business and legal records. We then delete them or remove the personal details. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email sales@khashim.com and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

Children

Our website is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
