A globe valve controls flow by moving a disc onto or away from a seat. It can shut off flow and also regulate it. Because the flow turns inside the body, the pressure drop is higher than in a gate valve. The valves pictured have handwheels and flanged or threaded ends.
Key features
- Disc and seat design for shut-off and regulation
- Flow turns inside the body: higher pressure drop than a gate valve
- Fit with the flow direction the body shows
- Handwheel operated, as pictured
- Flanged, threaded and socket weld ends listed
- Sizes from 1/2 in to 12 in

- Regulating flow in water, oil and fuel lines
