WEICON plastic steel putty, sold as WEICON A, is a pasty, steel-filled epoxy repair system certified by DNV. K. Hashim LLC supplies it from Sharjah to shipyards, plants and workshops across the UAE.

The putty is highly filled with steel pigments, so it is magnetic and stays in place even on vertical surfaces. You mix the resin and hardener at 100:10 by weight, then apply it in layers up to 20 mm thick. Pot life is 60 minutes at 20 °C, and the repair reaches final strength after 24 hours. It rebuilds corroded and pitted steel without the heat distortion that welding causes.
