Loctite 495 Instant Adhesive – General Purpose

Loctite 495 is a one-part, low-viscosity, general-purpose ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive for bonding plastics, rubbers and metals. Atmospheric moisture starts the cure; best results come at 40–60 % relative humidity, and full chemical and solvent resistance develops after at least 24 hours.

• Fixture time 5–10 seconds on degreased mild steel; under 5 seconds on aluminium, ABS, PVC and rubber
• Lap shear strength after 24 hours: 14.2 N/mm² on grit-blasted steel, 10.8 N/mm² on grit-blasted aluminium
